Key Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders. This includes preparing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Audit Preparation: Assist with the annual audit process, preparing supporting documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. Ensure the organization is audit-ready at all times.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and NGO-specific financial requirements. Ensure the organization complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient funds are available to meet the organization's financial obligations. Prepare cash flow projections and manage banking relationships.
- Payroll Processing: Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages. Comply with all payroll tax regulations.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
