- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Data Entry and Reconciliation: Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems. Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
- Expense Management: Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies. Track and analyze expense trends.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and information as requested.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the finance team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned by the Finance Manager or other senior finance staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Associate's degree with relevant experience will be considered.
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting role (typically 1-3 years).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced skills).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) is a plus.
