We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Financial Advisor to join our growing team. As a Financial Advisor, you will play a critical role in helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. You will build strong, lasting relationships with clients by understanding their unique circumstances, offering personalized advice, and providing ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, in-person meetings, and proactive outreach.
- Financial Planning: Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses to understand clients' current financial situation, risk tolerance, and future goals.
- Investment Recommendations: Develop customized financial plans and investment strategies tailored to clients' specific needs and objectives, including retirement planning, education funding, estate planning, and insurance needs.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about a wide range of financial products and services, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, insurance products, and retirement plans.
- Market Awareness: Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and adjust investment strategies as needed.
- Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing the financial services industry.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.
- Client Education: Educate clients on financial concepts, investment strategies, and the importance of long-term financial planning.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and complete client records, prepare financial reports, and document all client interactions.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including support staff and other advisors, to provide exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial planning and investment management.
- Series 7 and Series 66 licenses preferred (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe).
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment strategies, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
